This is a closeup view of the plant downtown. There were a whole bunch of big red seeds inside it, and when I picked one, it was moist yet really hard. It looked like it was edible, but I didn't want to wind up in the hospital with some sort of exotic poisioning...I can't take any more days off work!
Anyway, for some reason, this plant reminded me of pregnacy--this bulb is full of life, ready to pop any minute. I know, I'm weird... |
